2026 Toyota RAV4 Design and Tech

Have you heard the big news? The 2026 RAV4 will be an all-electric car and available with Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle (PHEV) powertrain systems. The RAV4 HEV system offers AWD for the first time, allowing for more freedom and agility on the road. It also offers an increased horsepower range, producing up to 236 hp when used with combined hp and AWD. On the other hand, the PHEV models feature a newly developed Plug-in Hybrid System that has a high-capacity drive battery and high-output charger. Like the hybrid, the plug-in also adds an impressive amount of horsepower when compared to previous models. Get up to 320 hp on its combined system, and recharge from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
