While we can take care of nearly everything on our end, there are just a few documents that you could provide to further the process along even more quickly. Keep reading to discover how you can help us offer the highest quote and complete the swiftest sale.
Title
In order to complete the sale and transfer the ownership of your model to our dealership, we will need the hard copy of your vehicle's title. If it's not in your possession — perhaps it’s safely locked away at the bank — be sure to track it down before stopping by our office to finalize your quote. We won't be able to do business with you unless a title is present!
But I’m still making payments.
No problem. Many are still in the process of paying off their auto loan, which means the vehicle's title will be in the hands of your lender. You'll need to reach out to your lienholder to talk through what the loan payoff amount is.
But I’m still in my lease agreement.
We've got you covered, too! This step is the same as the one above. Simply contact your lender and request the payoff amount. Once the model is paid off and you have the title transferred to your name (and not your lender's), you're ready to sell your model to us!
CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™
One optional document that you could bring along with you is your vehicle's CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™. If you already paid for and ran the CARFAX® on your model — let's say you tried selling your vehicle online and only got fickle responses and ridiculous offers — feel free to bring the hard copy with you. Of course, since you'll provide the VIN to receive our quote, we can run the CARFAX® ourselves, so don't worry if you don't have the report just yet.
Warranty Documentation
The last voluntary paperwork to bring is any warranty documentation you have at home! If your model is still under a valid warranty — either its original new vehicle warranty or a transferable one that you purchased — we'd like to know about it! A model with provable coverage could grant you a higher offer.
